Excellence
Advanced Construction and Design knows how to build. We understand it takes vision,
innovation, and effort. Our doors open to a company that believes in their clients, their staff,
and the idea that what we build will be the monuments we leave behind. As a result, we are
committed to leaving a personal stamp of excellence on every phase of a project from conception to completion.
Knowledge
Company excellence requires personal excellence. We know that our product reflects the values of our people.
Building a team that insists on quality, listens carefully to the client's needs, and are confident in their
ability to solve problems also builds people that love their work, take pride in their service, and enjoy challenge.
Value
Our staff believes in finding a way to make the client's budget and dreams combine to create satisfaction beyond what
money can buy. We know the importance of getting the job done right the first time. We know the value of finding the
right fit for our clients. We know the worth of quality projects that are built to withstand time. We complete projects
as if the money were coming from our own pocket.
"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost, that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them."
-Henry David Thoreau
Walter N. Hammon
Walter has worked in the construction industry for sixteen years. He started as a laborer organizing materials, stringing trusses, conducting site work preparation, and concrete forming. Carpentry, framing, and interior finish soon followed. During this time, Walter graduated with honors from Mohave Community College. In 1987, Walter formed the company that would become Advanced Construction and Design (ACAD). It started as a trucking company, hauling equipment, landscape materials, sand and gravel, and drywall stocking. As qualified staff joined the team, they branched into concrete ready mix, heavy equipment operation, and underground utilities. Soon, Walter was managing municipal projects, subdivisions, and residential housing.
Walter managed ACAD’s growth from a small town company of two to a multi million dollar organization. His strong communication skills and fiscal administration will ensure your project is finished on time and budget.
