Winner of the 2000 American Public Works Association Project of the Year for design by consultant, State of Utah Envision Utah and the Southern Utah Community of the Year awards, Coral Canyon stepped back to the past to create a community for the future.
The initial contractor on-site, ACAD completed project infrastructure such as water, sewer and off-site erosion control at Coral Canyon. The largest subdivision in southern Utah, the project required scheduling through the city and other contractors. ACAD completed site cleanup and prepatory work before contractors arrived. It also installed storm drain and sewer for primary boulevards and streets. ACAD also installed utilities through the new UDOT SR-9 interchange. The crew repaired golf course lakes, installed site utilities, and performed site excavation throughout the project including utility installation for sales center and EPS control. |
